founded in 2006 by graphic, editorial and digital designer ritxi ostáriz, and based in the lovely basque town of sopelana, near the city of bilbao (north of spain), iikki studio is a motion graphics studio, specialized in cartoon and character animation, having worked for several tv channels, producers and music bands developing bumpers, ids, promos, headers and / or music videoclips.
in addition, ritxi ostáriz was the director of the motion graphics master at istituto europeo di design (madrid), in 2008 and 2009, apart of being teacher of video workshops at the same school.
his audiovisual work has been shown and featured in some of the most important design events, books, magazines sites and blogs, having also participated as speaker in conferences and discussion panels at some of the most important digital design events in spain, as offf festival, madinspain or wasabi in motion.
iikki studio works as a web company, with ritxi ostáriz directing most of the work, and collaborating with some of the most important animators, photographers, illustrators and designers in spain.
